Beautiful trek between lakes / Pyrenees, Spain

On our way to the Basque Country in the south of France, where we went for surfing and good food, we came up with a plan for our trip back to Bohemia. I had wanted to visit the Pyrenees for a long time, so we went on a short but beautiful trek between the mountain lakes Major de Colomèrs, Estanh Plan, Lac Long and many others. You can plan long, even multi-day treks. We chose a route that would only take us one afternoon. It was still worth it!

The last possible village that can be entered into the navigation is Salardú. Then it is better to enter the exact pin to the parking lot Parking taxis pujada Cicr de Colomèrs ( https://goo.gl/maps/hAXvKPNUDYhAqc1GA ) into the navigation . On the way you will pass a small dam Barratge d'Aiguamòg where you can apparently legally camp. There is a nice facility there - a fireplace and seating. If we had known this in advance, we would definitely have camped there with our car.

Upon arriving at our starting point, the Cicr de Colomèrs car park, we decided to take the local minibus, which would save us an hour of pedalling on a closed gravel road up into the mountains. The forecast was not very good and rain was slowly approaching. We also didn't have much time and wanted to make the most of it by pedalling in the mountains. The bus took us to the Arribada taxis Colomèrs

from where it's just on foot. The path to the lakes leads along a marked hiking trail and after a few meters we found ourselves in beautiful nature. We climbed for a while along a steep rocky path, then along a beautiful stream, over footbridges and then climbing again. The difficulty of the terrain is ideal for both children and older family members. Once you reach the first lake, Major de Colomèrs, the hardest part is behind you. Then you just enjoy the wonderful views of the lakes and the beautiful mountains in the background.
